Super Bowl LI to be hosted in Minnesota…
Just imagine, that will be the headline on every newspaper from coast to coast when the Vikings finally strike a deal with the Minnesota Legislature who recently returned for the 2012 session. Grassroots fan groups SavetheVikes.org and Minnesota Momentum have geared up for another showdown at the Capitol in St. Paul.
Now at SavetheVikes.org, the Legislative contact tool has been updated for the 2012 session to reflect where the Vikings are at in their quest for a new home in Minnesota. With Lawmakers back at the Capitol, it is critical for fans to let their collective voices be heard. There are two easy and effective ways to do that over Super Bowl weekend and here is how you can help!
First, go to SavetheVikes.org Legislative contact tool and email your Lawmakers. But don’t stop there. Continue to email your Lawmaker weekly throughout the Legislative session, which ends in April. Call them; meet with them if you can. Legislative contact info will be provided after you send your email with the SavetheVikes.org contact tool.
Secondly, take part in Minnesota Momentum’s invitation to host a stadium huddle at your Super Bowl party!
The Vikings very own fan group is stepping up in a big way this year to help push the stadium drive over the goal line, by asking fans to host a “stadium huddle”. Fans will educate their fellow Super Bowl watchers on how to keep up to date on stadium developments by following Minnesota Momentum on Facebook and Twitter along with having them sign a petition stating their support to keep the Vikings in Minnesota by building a new stadium.
Fans can find more details on the Minnesota Momentum Playbook page, including the petition sign up form which you can also download here:
Minnesota Momentum Stadium Huddle
It’s been a long road to walk, and with your help we can bring this journey to its destination of a new people’s stadium preserving the Vikings for another 30 years in Minnesota! Please get active today!

The best way to build a stadium: If it will be for baseball too, is to leave the Domes lower bowl intact since its under ground, and use it for the new stadium. Replace the blue seats with purple. It will save million(s) of dollars and quicker construction.
So even if this misleading propaganda headline were someday true, do you really think the average fan will get a chance to go? Hell no! This stadium will essentially price out a majority of us Vikes fans from ever attending a game. Season ticket holders will have to cough up $5000 per seat just to keep their seats! Is this what we want? Tell wolf No seat licenses!!!!!
I too must add, the fist time I saw this headline it caught my attention which was Cory’s intent but it also is very unprofssional because it is misleading and gives false hope. He really should re-consider editing it, even if I undestand its intent. Talk about a letdown when you actually click on the article only to find out its all just speculative hype.
